Cheryl Fowler

Licensee Salesperson

Being well known over the past 28 years in the Methven and Ashburton areas as an Interior Designer - I have either redecorated my clients homes or helped them with a new build.  I tutored at CPIT in Christchurch for six years in Interior Decor and also consulted for McKenzie & Willis, Riverland Interiors and Stonewood Homes.  Taking a slight sideways step, I worked in the Wardrobe Dept on the Lord of the Rings trilogy and trained at the prestigious KSSM school of Makeup - going on to be a Professional Makeup Artist for Womans Day, Womans Weekly and New Ideas Magazines and in TV for Mitre 10 Dream Home.  Along with the Interior Design and Makeup Artistry, my creative flair also led me into Fashion styling - not just in clothing but in jewellery where I worked for Michael Hill Jewellers, training as one of the Company's few accredited Diamontologists (Diamond specialists).  I found that I had a passion for people and in sales - becoming one of the Company's best Salespeople, achieving many awards for my outstanding customer service and sales because I loved the product and it made my heart sing to see my clients purhase a piece that meant so much to them.

REAA 2008 no 20087055

I continued to do my Interior Design work as well and with my passion for houses, people and sales decided that a Real Estate career would be a great combination of the things I love.  I could help people achieve their dreams in the purchase of their homes and using my Interior Design skills, could help them stage their homes to their best advantage when it came time to sell.

On the personal front, I believe it is important to treat others with integrity and respect and to walk the extra mile to achieve your dreams.  I have personally owned, built and sold many homes and am currently renovating and restoring an iconic Ashburton home built by the renowned Architect Billy Thomas.

If you're thinking of making a move, then don't hesitate to give me a call!
